Definition
‘SPACE’ means SPACE SALON FURNITURE and 'CUSTOMER' means individual or business purchasing goods.
It is assumed that customers have prior knowledge of and/or experience in the proper use of purchases. Acceptance of invoice assumes acceptance of all terms & conditions.
Discrepancies with orders need to be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Where plumbing / electrical is required all installation and/or connection costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Prices and our return, exchange policies are subjected to change at our discretion.
Pricing
All pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD) ex GST
Payment Method
SPACE accepts direct debit, EFTPOS and credit cards including Visa & MasterCard (excluding AMEX)
Orders will not be dispatched until the full payment has been received.
Shipping and Handling
SPACE engage professional third-party freight companies both internationally and nationally for delivery of goods. Express delivery options including overnight, next day and 2nd day delivery are available on selected items (if in stock) for additional cost. Items in stock are generally shipped out within 48 hours from the date full payment has been received if held within Australia; however, times may vary depending on the volume on order. Back ordered items and custom or special orders particularly those from overseas may take up approximately 3 - 4 months for delivery. Space Salon Furniture takes out insurance on all International / custom deliveries. Any goods damaged in transit or subsequent claims relating to such events are subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party insurance company engaged relative to each consignment. As a 'general rule', any damages or issues are usually required to be reported inside three (3) business days of the goods being received.
Refund Policy
For locally supplied products, exchanges, refunds or store credit may be offered.
All such allegable refunds are subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the final price as shown on receipt. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours from the date of goods re-received in to our warehouse.
There are no exchanges or refunds for clearance / sale items or customs orders from overseas.
With respect to international / custom made furniture produced as per each customer’s specifications / requirements, there are strictly no exchanges or refunds.
For the sake of clarity, once a custom made order has commenced production with a third party manufacturer (such as Maletti Italy), the order in non refundable.
All claims for faulty goods must be made within 3 days of receiving the item(s) and should the return of goods be agreed / required, all goods must be returned unused and in original packaging as received.
Defective Merchandise
If proven to be defective, exchange or store credit may be granted subject to the final approval of SPACE. Unrelated dissatisfaction or a change of heart following a purchase does not entitle the customer to a claim on the basis of defective goods.
SPACE may allow for and exchange or store credit to be issued for defective merchandise subject to the following conditions:
• The item is returned within 7 days from the date of receipt
• The item is returned in its original packaging with all accessories and paperwork
• The item is found to have a manufacturer’s defect upon investigation by SPACE
• The customer is responsible for fees associated with returning any defective item(s).
Catalogue/Website conditions & pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices provided are RRP and do not include any freight, tax, setup, or delivery charge that may apply.
Actual items may vary in appearance from pictures shown in the catalogue/website due to lighting and print quality. All pictures are for reference only and may not reflect the exact specifications of the actual product. SPACE has made every attempt to be as accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free as possible with all listed items. If a product offered within our catalogue/website is not as described upon purchase, the customer may return it under the conditions listed in the previous section
Product Warranty
All SPACE salon furniture comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. SPACE salon furniture and equipment is designed for operation by qualified, trained professionals only, and other means of use may result in a void of warranty.
SPACE’s warranty does not cover colour variation of wood, fabric, chrome, powder-coating or laminated materials. Chrome finishes, powder coated finishes, fabric, and laminated materials are not warranted against wear, fading, staining, soiling, crushing, peeling, chipping, or any affliction influenced by the user created environment or the care to which the item is tended to during use.
The limited warranty does not cover any damage caused in transit, and such additional warranting remains at our discretion. Use of replacement parts provided by other manufacturers or not authorised by SPACE, may affect equipment performance and void product warranties.
Warranty service is provided by SPACE and requires that products be shipped to SPACE or our authorized service agents for the repair. The warranty does not cover shipping changes to or from our repair centres. All repaired items will be returned to the customer via a commercial freight carrier. SPACE is not responsible for any shipping charges or consequential damages resulting in transit and equipment handling or service delays.
COVID 19 Considerations:
Due to the challenging environment we are experiencing as a result of Covid-19, please be aware that unforeseen delays may be encountered, specifically relating to custom orders manufactured outside of Australia. Whilst we do everything within our capabilities to provide accurate timelines and forecasts relating to production, there is always the potential for delays.
When accepting and paying for a custom order, you acknowledge these factors.
Force Majeure:
SPACE shall be excused from liability for the failure or delay in performance of any obligation by reason of any event beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to Acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, pandemics, earthquakes, or other natural forces, war, civil unrest, border closures, forced closures of manufactures, any strike or labor disturbance, or any other event similar to those enumerated above. Such excuse from liability shall be effective to the extent and duration of the event(s) causing the failure or delay in performance and provided that SPACE has not caused such event(s) to occur and continues to use diligent, good faith efforts to avoid the effects of such event and to perform our obligations. Notice SPACE's failure or delay in performance due to force majeure must be given to the customer promptly thereafter.
